Connect to The Life - a KA210-SCH Erasmus Project

Mobility-Spain

The second mobility took place in Granada in Spain. It lasted from 7 October to 11 October 2024.

This activity of the project was done through a game. We putted in a box several cards with activities (each one of them had to be appropriate to the group, that is to said, the number of students, ages, context, resources, etc.) that they had to performed during the 5 days that the activity lasted. When the group was assembled and ready, a teacher said «open your mind,» but actually open the box. A student, with his eyes closed, took a card and read it out loud. The teacher then explained what the activity was and the students performed it at the set time. As the activities were chosen randomly, you couldn’t know in advance the order of the activities, but below we wrote the set of actions and games that the partnership proposed to carry out during the 5 days that this activity lasted:

First day

Create your own company: The group had to design a company in the technology sector but all the material would be handmade: the product, brochures, posters for advertisements, logos, etc.

Gymkhana: The group of students got to know the city of Granada through a tour through which they would have to pass tests with only two tools: a map of the city and some tracks (prohibited mobile phones, gps, etc…).

Second day

The monster of colors: Through the book with the same title, different activities held to address the issue of mental health and addictions to technologies.

I am supportive: We visited an association where you could learn about the work done by the volunteers and our students volunteered for a day, thus selflessly helping people in need.

Third day

Young people like culture: Guided tour of a monument in Granada. Students had to answer some fun questions throughout the visit to approach heritage in an attractive way.

Fourth day

Adventure among pines: With this activity we promoted outdoor physical activity as another healthy alternative to the use of mobile phones. At the end of each activity students explained their feelings and told what they learned.

Fifth day

 Students prepared a
presentations on what
they’ve learned
during the meeting
and their experiences, and they closed the week programme
